“The neighbors don’t know anything, and there are no relatives”

Stas Piekha is sounding the alarm: his father Petras Gerulis has disappeared without a trace. The singer cannot reach his parent by phone; he does not answer messages and does not show up at home.

“I always transferred money to him, but it hasn’t arrived for several months. I started looking for my father, he disappeared. We can’t find him,” the musician said on the show “We Need to Discuss with Laura Dzhugelia.” “The neighbors don’t know anything. There are no relatives there, there is a sister, but she lives in America.”

The 43-year-old artist hasn’t seen his dad for a long time, but he kept in touch with him from a distance. Stas is worried that something bad might happen to his loved one. “We’ve made inquiries. We constantly discuss this with my mother, but we can’t do anything. They definitely won’t be happy to see me in Lithuania, but maybe we’ll send someone there. So far, everyone we’ve asked can’t,” Stas shared.

Piekha noted that his father had divorced his second wife, so there was no one to marry. All that was left was to wait for Petras to show up himself.

“I would like to restore the financial flow to him. I always transfer him a certain amount, but once I tried to transfer 20 times more – and his wife left him. As I understand it, there was an unwanted holiday at home with that money… I decided that I can’t transfer so much, because the person doesn’t know how to properly allocate finances,” the singer concluded.

A little about Gerulis: his life has not been good. He does not work, huddles in a one-room apartment on the outskirts of Vilnius and even sometimes eats in a canteen for homeless people.
