Florencia Arietto, Buenos Aires senator for the PRO, went to the land seizure in Los Hornos, La Plata, and had a strong discussion with some of the neighbors who have been installed on the property since February 2020.

The strong discussion that the leader close to Patricia Bullrich was involved in took place this Wednesday at 11 in the morning, at the intersection of streets 143 and 77 of the aforementioned takeover. The exchange was recorded in some videos filmed by the neighbors themselves.

“They have people living like animals, scoundrels,” said Arietto while being questioned by a neighbor who questioned her presence in the place. The woman answered: “What are you going to do? Evict? Is your solution to leave people homeless?”

Far from calming the waters, the Buenos Aires senator redoubled the bet and responded: “I’m going to evict them. You have them living in the m…” The response only increased the tension in the place and provoked a shower of shouts and insults.

In the midst of the tense atmosphere and trying to calm the screams, Arietto blurted out: “We are going to give you much more than what you gave. You are an infamous person who does business with the poor. We are going to revolt once morest you.”

Another neighbor who was following the departure of the former Security Chief of Independiente de Avellaneda responded: “You are not leaving me without any business, I live here. It’s the first time we see your face. We’ve been here for four years, no one takes us out. You enter a neighborhood you don’t know. The town is here.”

While the PRO senator continued on her way through the 160-hectare property, other neighbors made their defense: “Do you want to advertise? Go do politics in another neighborhood. Finally, Arietto concluded the tour of the property that belongs to the National State, which began to be taken in February 2020 and which deepened during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last month, the provincial legislator requested that the case closed by federal judge Alejo Ramos Padilla be unarchived, which dealt with the possible eviction of people who have lived in the area of ​​the former Glider Club for more than four years. .

“The taking of Los Hornos. Usurpation of 160 hectares of the Nation where 70% is foreign, the case was being processed in the Ramos Padilla federal court, which at the request of [Axel] Kicillof archived it,” he wrote on his personal account on the social network X (exTwitter).

In April 2023, Ramos Padilla considered that it is the obligation of the State to provide a solution to families with a habitat deficit and, therefore, established that both the national, provincial and municipal State must cooperate to conclude an urban development project there.

“It is a health and safety catastrophe for the surrounding residents. We are going to request the unfiling of the usurpation file, attaching this case of the pool as a new fact, where it is demonstrated that the takeover is a hole of drug traffickers and jets and all that remains is to evict, condemn the organizers and accomplices and expel the immigrants who were part of the crime,” Arietto warned, referring to the theft of a pool that ended in the taking of Los Hornos.
