The national government announced a project that extends birth licenses

According to the new project worked on by the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversity, which is called Equal Care Law, It will seek to improve the licenses recognized for formal workers, but it will also seek to equalize the rights for other workers who are not registered, workers from private homes and people who work autonomously in their professions.

Specifically, the project provides for a reform of the licensing system through a modification of the employment contract law. In addition, it creates an assignment for the same term of licenses for monotributistas, social monotributistas and autonomous.

For non-pregnant people, the license grows progressively from 15 days to 90 in 8 years. For people who do carry a pregnancy, the license is extended to 126 days from the day the project is approved (an increase from the current 90 days). For adopters, 90 days of leave are recognized from the moment the project is approved.

The initiative also contemplates recognizing the leave of absence for men. The time spent on leave and leave is also considered provisionally.

In the case of workers in private homes, a minimum income floor equivalent to a minimum, vital and mobile salary is guaranteed.
