The national cricket team started training after the isolation ended

The national cricket team in New Zealand has started training after the end of the isolation. After the fourteen-day quarantine, the Pakistani cricketers held their first training session in Queenstown. The players did net practice under the supervision of head coach Ijaz Ahmed.

The practice session lasted for 3 hours. Pakistani team players will also have a practice session today. The T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand will start from December 18.

New Zealand will host 3 T20 and 2 Test matches against Pakistan. The first T20 match between the two teams will be played on December 18 in Auckland.

The second match will be played on December 20 in Hamilton, the third and final match will be played on December 22 in Napier. The first Test match between the two teams will be played in Tauranga from December 26 to 30. The second and final Test will be played in Christchurch from January 3 to January 7.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the 18-member squad for the T20 against New Zealand.

The team will be led by Babar Azam and vice-captain Shadab Khan. Sarfaraz Ahmed and Hussain Talat have returned to the T20 squad.

Mohammad Rizwan, Haider Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Iftikhar Ahmad, Khushdal Shah, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Hasnain, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi, Usman Qadir, Wahab Riaz, Faheem Ashraf, Imad Wasim and Abdullah Shafiq are also included in the squad.
