Shania Tyra (19) and Davina Shakira (20), the daughters of the well-known couple Carmen (58) and Robert Geiss (59), have names inspired by prominent personalities. Carmen Geiss revealed in an interview with “Bild” how they came up with these unique names.
For her younger daughter Shania Tyra, she combined the names of the singer Shania Twain (58) and the supermodel Tyra Banks (50). Davina Shakira got her middle name following the singer Shakira (46), while the first name Davina comes from the daughter of one of Carmen’s friends, who she describes in the interview as “beautiful”.

Carmen and Robert Geiss are also well informed regarding their daughters’ private lives. Robert shared that Shania and Davina haven’t brought home any boyfriends yet, just close friends. Carmen adds that her daughters are currently not interested in committed relationships as they enjoy their single life and enjoy spending time with their family.
The close and trusting relationship between parents and their children is also reflected in the fact that they speak openly regarding personal topics. “Both are still virgins. I think that’s great. “They don’t want to jump from one tree to the next,” Carmen told the “Bild-Zeitung”.
Shania and Davina no longer live with their parents, but in their own apartment in Monaco. However, Robert Geiss revealed to “Bild” that the sisters had expressed the desire to move back in with their parents. The family is currently looking for a larger apartment to offer everyone enough space.
