Created in 1937, the original names of Donald’s three nephews are Huey (Huebert), Dewey (Dewford), and Louie (Llewellyn). Its creator, Tomas Fourmantin, together with the cartoonist Al Taliaferro, assured in his day that they were the sons of Della Duck and a brother of Daisy.
