Kurt Kristiansen, Designer for the LEGO brand, explains: “ Bringing a brick-built model as iconic as the Land Rover Classic Defender to life was no small feat. This prestigious 4×4 can go anywhere, so we sought to infuse this spirit of adventure into this product when designing it. Thanks to the two-in-one format, you can equip this model with everything you need, whether it’s to travel the Highlands like our adventurers Raha Moharrak and Aldo Kane, to cross bodies of water or even dunes. We can’t wait to hear fan reactions. »
Looking back on her LEGO adventure, Raha Moharrak rejoiced: “ I was delighted when the LEGO Group asked me to participate in this campaign. I build at least one LEGO product per month and collaborating with these two brands has been a great adventure. I’ve truly seen a dream come true, whether it’s traversing the Highlands in the classic Defender, trying to get to the hardest-to-reach LEGO Shop in the world first, or being the first person to build this new LEGO product. »
Aldo Kane explains: I hadn’t played with LEGO bricks in years, but the driving part of the challenge had to be to my advantage. After all, I grew up in the Highlands, the terrain worked in my favor. However, the difficulties of the course and the winter conditions definitely made it an epic adventure! We made friends with Raha during this challenge and that’s what I enjoyed the most about this experience… besides discovering the new LEGO set which is really spectacular! »
