A New Yorker has gone viral on TikTok after sharing intriguing images of objects in her date’s bathroom.
The content creator, known only as Claire, reportedly met the man on dating app Hinge before meeting up at his apartment.
The meeting, however, took an unexpected turn when the young woman went to the bathroom and discovered a series of objects that she did not expect.
In the video, which has been viewed more than 12 million times since it was posted last week, Claire claims she discovered expensive skincare products in the man’s bathroom cabinet.
She zoomed in on some products before panning over three sumptuous Le Labo Santal 26 candles elegantly placed above the toilet. Total cost: $84.
Claire gushed over the decadent decorations of the date, before swiping her smartphone camera over to the shower, complete with a trendy ‘The Joy’ shower head.
Finally, Claire discovered an overpriced Dyson hairdryer in a shopping cart.
These items prompted the TikTokker to speculate that her Hinge date had a secret girlfriend.
Thousands of Internet users reacted by offering their theories. Many believe that the items in the bathroom belong to a woman, and suspect the man of being unfaithful.
