Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The American Space and Navigation Agency, or what is known as “NASA”, has caused an uproar among activists on social media following publishing a picture from the surface of Mars of what activists described as a “sculpted portal”.
NASA’s Curiosity rover on Mars captures a mysteriously described image of a door carved into a rocky mountain as if it leads to a building inside the mountain, which is very similar to the doors in the ruins of Madain Saleh in Saudi Arabia and Petra in Jordan. NASA explained that the image it published on its official website was taken by the Curtis robot camera on Mars on May 7.
