He joined Le Soir team in 2009 following leading the Brabant section at DH for an extended period. He worked with Le Soir in Walloon Brabant and two years ago, he moved to the society section. Recently he wrote on topics like family, mental health, senior sexuality and grieving for a lost child.

Cultivated, modest and humble, Jean-Philippe de Vogelaere was a dreamer and a lover of letters. He juggled with words. Writing was his bubble, his intimate universe where he often took refuge. He was a journalist, poet and novelist, playwright, lover of jazz, rock and comics.
