The Musicians Syndicate decided to suspend Mohamed Abdel Salam, the keyboard player

The Syndicate of Musical Professions, headed by the artist Mostafa Kamel, decided to suspend Mohamed Abdel Salam, the keyboard player, for not appearing before the General Syndicate to discuss the complaints filed once morest him.

And the Syndicate of Musical Professions issued a statement saying: “After reviewing the memorandum submitted by the Legal Affairs regarding Mr. Muhammad Abd al-Salam Moawad Ahmed (a keyboard player), he holds an annual permit and due to the failure of the aforementioned to appear before the General Syndicate to discuss the complaints submitted once morest him.”

And the statement continued: “Therefore, the Syndicate of Musical Professions decided, in accordance with Law No. 35 of 1978 and its amendments, and the internal regulations, to suspend the aforementioned from work until the completion of the investigation of the complaints submitted once morest him.”

And the Musicians Syndicate, headed by the artist Mostafa Kamel, lifted the suspension of festivals singer Omar Kamal and fined him 50 thousand pounds following he submitted a petition to reduce the fine instead of 100 thousand pounds, as a result of his singing without permission from the Musicians Syndicate in a number of Arab and European countries.
