The Municipality of Córdoba reported in the last few hours how services will work during the extra long weekend from October 13 to 16.
The scheme was defined as follows:
- Urban Passenger Transport. It will circulate on Friday the 13th with a Saturday frequency (with reinforcement until 2 p.m.), and on Monday the 16th with a Sunday frequency.
- Harvest. On Friday there will be no home waste collection service, while on Saturday, Sunday and Monday the collection will be normal.
- Measured and controlled parking. It will be free on both Friday the 13th and Monday the 16th in the permitted spaces, with the exception of Parque Sarmiento, while on Saturday the 14th it will operate normally from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Cemeteries. San Jerónimo and San Vicente will remain open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Vehicle Technical Inspection Plants. They will remain closed on Friday and Monday.
- Palacio 6 de Julio, the Community Participation Centers and other decentralized offices. They will remain closed.
How shops will work
From the Córdoba Chamber of Commerce they indicated that the stores will open normally on Friday the 13th.
Meanwhile, on Monday the 16th, most businesses will keep their doors closed.
In turn, they clarified that on both national holidays current legislation must be applied for the payment of remuneration to employees and cannot be granted as compensatory francs for weekly rest.
