Elaf: A number of the stars of the new Kuwaiti feature film “Shayabni Hani” stressed that the film represents the most beautiful gift for fans of the seventh art in Kuwait and the Arab Gulf countries. This coincides with the media campaign that precedes the screening of the film at the end of this August.
They also praised the high technical level through which this work was accomplished, which they described as befitting the name of Kuwait artistically and creatively.
In a special statement, the artist, Hamad Al-Omani, said: “My happiness cannot be described in participating in the movie “Shyabni Hani”, which we filmed between Kuwait and Mexico over a period of nearly three years, filled with artistic achievements that gave us the golden opportunity to cooperate with Hollywood stars and artistic cadres led by the able Kuwaiti director Ziyad. Al-Husseini, who emphasized his craft and creative artistic ability.
For her part, actress Rawan Al-Mahdi said: “I consider my experience in the movie “Shyabni Hani” as a real addition to my credit and my artistic experience first in cooperation with the artist director Ziyad Al-Husseini and his high-level production, artistic and technical team, in addition to the high professionalism through which this film was accomplished.
Al-Mahdi continued, saying: “My happiness is indescribable with the audience award that the film won at the Red Sea Film Festival, which can be described as the most important international film festival in the Middle East, in addition to the reactions that the film garnered during its showing at the festival on the public and critical levels.”
While the artist, Faisal Al-Amiri, said: The movie “Shayabni Hani” is one of the important cinematic experiences, and despite the limited scenes for me, it gave me the opportunity to present aspects of my craft as an actor, where I cooperated with a distinguished constellation of local and Hollywood artists and stars, in addition to the artistic team led by the distinguished director Ziad Al-Husseini, who He was able to achieve his transmission with this experience that combines adventure and social discourse in a high-level artistic framework that viewers around the world can accept.

The film “Shyabni Hani”, many of whose scenes were filmed in Kuwait, along with a part in Mexico, is classified as a feature-length novelist with a dramatic, kinetic character and is not devoid of the spirit of comedy. It was written, directed and produced by Dr. Ziad Al-Husseini, and it was co-produced by Kuwaiti producer Abdulaziz Al-Yaqout, Kuwaiti producer in Hollywood Mashari Al-Mutawa and the (Foo) platform, and Saudi director and producer Hamza Jamjoom.
