The mother of the two children, “Iman and Sajda”: An alternative treatment prescribed by the pharmacist is a reason

The mother of the two children, Eman and Sajda, said that she went to a pharmacy next to her place of residence in the Bashaer Al-Khair 3 area to receive a prescription for treatment for the two girls, who suffer from a high temperature and a cold.

The mother of the two girls indicated during the prosecution’s investigations, that the pharmacist prescribed an alternative drug to the blogger in the treatment prescription, but she tried to search for the original treatment but might not find it, so she had to return to the pharmacy to receive her daughter’s alternative treatment.

The mother added that the worker inside the pharmacy injected her two daughters with “antibiotics” without testing them before the injection, so they felt very ill and were taken to the hospital, where they died instantly.

The beginning was when the Mina al-Basal Police Department received a report from the mother of the two girls, Iman and Sajda Muhammad Mahmoud Saad al-Najjar, accusing the owner and worker of a pharmacy of causing their death following they received a drug in the pharmacy.

The necessary report of the incident was issued at Mina Al-Basal Police Department, and the pharmacy owner and two employees were arrested.

The Public Prosecution Office in Alexandria issued 4 decisions in the case of the death of the two girls, including the seizure and inspection of the pharmacy, the assignment of a specialized committee to review its licenses, examine its drugs, impound a pharmacist and imprison two workers with four days pending investigations.

The prosecution charged the workers with practicing the pharmacy profession without a license, and accused the first of allowing them to do so, in addition to accusing the worker of giving the two victims a drug that caused their deaths.
