During the last few years, the automobile sector has seen how sales of electrical and the plug-in hybrids. Despite the fact that these vehicles contribute to the elimination of polluting gases and particles, they still have a high price and a problem when recharging them, a reason that can scare off buyers.

Therefore, the TO FATHER has prepared a report in which it explains which are the most profitable models to acquire a plug-in hybrid. To do this, this organization has compared 35 models, whose prices range between 28,000 and 118,000 euros.

The result has been that the most profitable plug-in hybrid models are the Toyota Prius Plug-In and the Kia Ceed Tourer (1.6 PHEV).

The first model has a starting cost from 33,900 euros. It has 122 horses and the battery allows you to travel 40 kilometers in electric mode. If it was done 70% of the time, the cost estimated by the OCU would be 4.7 euros.

For its part, the Kia Ceed Tourer is priced from 29,180 euros. It has a 141-horsepower engine and a range of 45 kilometers. OCU estimates suggest that traveling for 100 kilometers during 70% in electric mode has a cost of 5.4 euros.

The same organization points out that the interior space is better than the Toyota, in addition to a better price. Against it is the noise of the engine when it is at high speed with the gasoline engine.
