A foreign car has been named, which bypassed other cars in popularity among Russians. For the first time, a representative of the Chinese car industry, the Chery Tiggo 4 crossover, became a leader. During the week, from July 11 to July 17, 282 such models were bought in the country.
At the same time, by the standards of the Russian car market, this is a small volume of sales. But once morest the background of the rest, it is much better, and this allowed the Chinese brand to lead the rating of the best-selling foreign cars.
The second and third places were taken by the “Koreans” Kia Rio and Hyundai Creta (269 and 259 cars, respectively). They are followed by Chery Tiggo 7 PRO (240 cars), Haval Jolion (240 cars), Hyundai Solaris (225 cars), Geely Coolray (213 cars) and Renault Logan (187 cars).
At the same time, representatives of the domestic auto industry – Lada Granta and Lada Vesta – remain leaders in the total volume of cars sold in Russia. From July 11 to 17, the Russians bought 1250 Lada Granta and 464 Lada Vesta.
