State of Play from Sony is a regular show of new productions coming to PlayStation. Usually, at this type of events, we officially learn regarding major premieres, and this time was no different. Death Stranding 2 is just one of the new releases worth keeping in mind, and players who own PlayStation 5 can already rub their hands while waiting for the upcoming releases.

There’s a lot of good things ahead of us, or at least that’s the impression you get from the last State of Play. Sony presented over a dozen titles and, of course, one of the most important was the continuation of Death Stranding. This will not be a typical game, and certainly not for those who have not had contact with Hideo Kojima’s work before.

However, we will have to wait here at least until 2025 and this is provided that there are no delays. History has taught us that it is better to give producers a few months more than to receive an unfinished product full of errors. What other announcements from State of Play are worth remembering?
Silent Hill 2 Remake

Polish Bloober Team finally presented a fragment of Silent Hill 2 Remake gameplay. For many players, this will be one of the most important premieres of the coming months. Unfortunately, we didn’t know the release date, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long. After all, we are talking regarding a classic in a new edition, and the refreshed Resident Evil series is an example that such projects make sense.
Rise of the Ronin

A title that is coming exclusively to PlayStation 5 and may be a treat for fans of the open world. At State of Play, we saw another trailer for Rise of the Ronin, presenting what the game itself will look like. It’s going to be bloody, and even Ghost of Tsushima fans should be happy. Team Ninja, the creators of the famous NiOh, is responsible for the project. It’s going to be bloody.
Metro Awakening

Good news for fans of the Metro series. Will appear another installment of the production, although this time only addressed to those who use the PS VR2 virtual reality goggles. However, this does not change the fact that the title is worth waiting for.
Helldivers 2

The great return following years, Helldivers 2, will premiere on February 8. The cooperative shooter will take us to distant planets, where we can play together with our friends deal with tons of nasty enemies. It may not be a title that will blow your mind with its announcement, but it can guarantee a lot of fun.
