He could not be absent from the very important and highly successful (both organizationally and in terms of participation) coaches’ seminar organized yesterday in “Tofalos” by the Hellenic Basketball Federation and the Union of Basketball Associations of Achaia and Ilia.
“Coaches are the most important link in the chain in basketball and especially in the development part,” Vangelis Liolios said from the microphone and added: “Each child is introduced to basketball by the coaches. And every child when he grows up will forever remember his first coaches, but also all the coaches who had him under their basketball responsibility.”
The president of the EEC gave special emphasis to how important the process of welcoming children to the sport by their coaches is, while he also spoke about the national direction towards the teams and the people on the benches. Of course, the sections that were presented and the great presences (Kostas Tsartsaris, Kostas Missas, Yiannis Kalambokis, Kostas Papadopoulos) stole the show.
