After many adventures, the famous god of war Kratos made his comeback in 2018 in a story set within Norse mythology in God of War. Santa Monica Studio, which developed the game, will soon extend its universe with a second opus entitled God of War Ragnarok which should arrive on PS4 and PS5. If you wanted to get your hands on the latter, it is now possible, since it is finally available for pre-order!
Pre-orders are open for God of War Ragnarok at Fnac
You’ve been waiting for it, the brand new game from Santa Monica Studio, God of War Ragnarok, is finally coming for pre-order on PS4 as on PS5 and you will even be able to choose between different editions.
Pre-orders will start from this Friday, July 15 at 11 a.m. at Fnacand so you will have until November 9, 2022 to choose your collector’s edition.

We also advise you to do it quickly if you want to take a collector’s edition, since the stocks available are generally quite low whatever the game.
In the collector’s editions, you can find two codes including one for downloading the game, but also a second code to unlock in-game cosmetics, including the Valnoir outfit and weapons, with a Dark horse digital Artbook, the official digital soundtrack, avatars for PSN and a PS4 theme.

The adventures of Kratos and his son continue in God of War Ragnarok
If the trilogy of old games takes place mainly in Greek mythology (not counting the PSP and Ascension episodes), the studio had finally renewed the license by registering it in Nordic mythology this time.
We do not change good habits, Kratos still finds himself and in spite of himself beating creatures and deities of all kinds with the help of his son Atreus.
Even though Ragnarok will be the last of this new series and therefore lives up to its name, this sequel promises to be just as good as the previous one.
Concretely, you can continue to follow the adventures of Kratos and his son Atreus who are trying to find a way to avoid the destruction of worlds (Ragnarok obliges).
You should be brought to meet some gods and mythical creatures which were not present in the first opus, in particular the famous wolf Fenrir or even Týr and even Thor.
Not too much change in terms of gameplay, however, the arsenal of weapons available has been revised upwards. In any case, it is especially on its beautiful staging and its breathtaking graphics that God of War Ragnarok is expected at the turn.
