A more modest, but successful smartphone
The Oppo Find X5 Lite follows the main lines of the design of its big brothers, with a few differences. It certainly consists of a plastic finish, its particular coating supposed to imitate a glass effect with a textured touch is very pleasant and has the advantage of not retaining fingerprints. Moreover, once in hand, we have a rather light and compact phone. Its 6.4-inch AMOLED panel is of very good quality and offers Full HD + definition with a refresh rate of 90 Hz to provide a smoother experience.
Regarding its photo module, it is composed of three sensors: a main sensor of 64 megapixels, an ultra wide-angle of 8 megapixels as well as a macro sensor of 2 megapixels, the same configuration as the Oppo Reno 6. On paper, it brings great versatility, especially with its Portrait Pro mode. Overall it delivers great shots, but don’t expect it to perform miracles in low light. On the front, the camera is 32 megapixels to ensure good quality for your selfies.
A balanced technical sheet
To lighten the bill, the Lite version obviously makes some performance concessions. Here the Find X5 Lite uses a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip — the same chip as on the Oppo Reno 6 — with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB. It is certainly less powerful than the chips on board by its big brothers, it is capable of offering a fluid experience. This chip is powerful enough for the vast majority of everyday uses, including 3D gaming, but without the graphics pushed to the limit. And to provide a good user experience, it runs on Android 12 interface coupled ColorOS12. The compatibility with 5G is also in the game.
But where the Oppo manufacturer impresses is with its fast charging system. And if the X5 Lite makes some concessions, this is not the case in terms of recharging. Thanks to the charger Super VooC the 65 W, the phone charges from 0 to 100% in just 34 minutes, according to the brand. A good score for this price range, however do not count on wireless charging. Finally regarding autonomy, its 4,500 mAh battery will last a good day depending on your use.
