This clarification comes following the declarations of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the said republic, Natalia Nikonova, on RT-Arabic June 27. The Minister announced that Morocco had sent “certain signals” concerning Brahim Saadoun, and that the contact request had been “accepted” by his government.
“No contact”
“This entity is not recognized by our country or the United Nations”, reiterates the embassy. Therefore, “there can be no official or unofficial contact for the Moroccan State with an entity of this nature”, supports focus.
As a reminder, on June 9, the court of the self-proclaimed Republic of Donetsk condemned to death three foreigners captured in Mariupol, including Moroccan national Brahim Saadoun, who had admitted his involvement in the Ukrainian army once morest Russian forces.
