Columbus Blue Jackets forward Patrik Laine will donate $1,000 to a foundation for every point he scores in 2023-2024.
The 25-year-old athlete made the announcement Thursday, having teamed up with the Ohio Health Foundation to support mental health among men.

So far, the Finn has collected a goal and an assist for two points in three games. Laine had his best campaign statistically in 2017-2018. At the time, he had 70 points in 82 games with the Winnipeg Jets.
We bet that many would like the young man to surpass this mark this year. For that to happen, Laine will need to stay healthy. He has not played more than 55 games in his last three campaigns.
