The monument in the name of the Pharaohs in Egypt.. A completely fake underground cemetery

Yesterday, the Egyptian authorities revealed the existence of a “full fake Pharaonic tomb” that was built by underground thieves in Beni Suef with the aim of fraud and selling it to antiquities smugglers by making them believe that it is real, according to media statements by the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Mostafa Waziri.

Waziri continued, “He went to the site of the incident, accompanied by the leaders of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, to discuss a communication received by government agencies, and a completely fake tomb was found, and all the statues inside were made of gypsum and alloys made of gypsum and coated with gold water, and it was confirmed that all the contents of that tomb are not archaeological at all.”

Waziri added that he “entered the fake cemetery, in which thieves imitated the shape of ancient Egyptian tombs, and found drawings on its walls that had nothing to do with Egyptian civilization.”

Egyptian archaeological sources said, “The tomb is a room at the bottom of a mountain, and 3 fake catacombs lead to it, and it was prepared to bring antiquities smugglers and dealers to sell its contents to them.”

And the Egyptian authorities ordered the destruction of all artifacts and the removal of the tomb, while they were unable, until this moment, to arrest the makers of the fake tomb.
