The amount of turnover of the Principality in the first half of 2023 amounts to 10 billion euros. An increase of one billion euros compared to last year over the same period, according to data revealed by the Monegasque Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Imsee).
This is the first time that this amount has been reached at the end of the first two quarters. A total of nearly 63,500 salaried jobs and more than 50 million hours worked have been accumulated by mid-2023.
Among the sectors which are doing the best, we note scientific and technical activities, administrative and support services with an increase of 615.1 million euros (+43.5%) as well as construction which sees its share increase by 18.8% (+226 million euros).
The biggest drop is marked by wholesale trade with -1.9 million euros (-0.5%).
