The brutal attack by a man with a knife on his former employer in the parking lot, which he maintains in Pagrati, last Wednesday (16.10.24) evening has caused a shock.
The perpetrator of the bloody attack stabbed his former employer in the hand and then returned to the scene of the incident, on Kononos Street, in Pagrati and burst the tires of 11 cars.
Live News brought to light a video document from the wild episode at 8 pm in the center of Pagrati.
The footage captures the moment the perpetrator stabs the victim.
The perpetrator moves menacingly towards the place where the owner of the garage is.
After first throwing the helmet at his head, he then pulls out a kitchen knife and stabs him in the arm.
Another youth, who is there, tries to restrain the assailant, but eventually, he turns and attacks him as well.
The assailant finally drops the knife, gets back on his bike and disappears.
Heavy criminal record
In the meantime, Live News reports that the perpetrator, who is wanted, has a heavy criminal past.
He had been convicted of murdering his mother-in-law’s sister in 2005.
He had hit her with a stick on the head and chest, he had been sentenced to life imprisonment, he had been in prison for 17 years and was released 2.5 years ago.
“I’ll butcher you, I’ll kill you”
In the meantime, the owner of the parking lot, speaking to newsit.gr, stated that the perpetrator was threatening him.
“He was calling me, telling me “I’m going to slaughter you, I’m going to kill you”. She made out with a guy I had at work. He had gone in, broken the cash register. He was holding a helmet in his hand, threw it at my head and lunged at me with a knife. I ate it in my hand, because I put it in front to protect myself.”
He continued: “I went to the hospital, they stitched up my wound and when I came back the phone calls continued. I called 100, they came and told me to take me to the department for protection. He came back with a knife, he was looking for me here and he started to pop the tires of the cars.”
“I had him in my business and I was trying to help him. I asked him, because his behavior was like that, not to come here. It was bad for me, I didn’t want it. He didn’t say anything to me and suddenly I found out that he went downstairs and threatened the man who was working,” he concluded.
