Maad Al-Hassan is a Syrian singer, and his hometown is the city of Raqqa. He studied at the Institute for Preparing Teachers, Department of Music. He was called “the first singer of Raqqa.” He was famous for the strength of his voice and the distinction of his performance in mountain and folk singing, and he was distinguished for performing Syrian and Iraqi folklore songs.
