The Molotov cocktail at Dodi Wertheim’s house: part of the incitement campaign against Keshet 12 or a connection to the other businesses?

Who is trying to threaten Dodi Wertheim, who controls Channel 12 and the central beverage company that holds the Coca-Cola franchise? During the night (between Tuesday and Wednesday) a Molotov cocktail was thrown in the direction of his house on Le Merhav Street in Ramat Hasharon.

There were no injuries in the incident and very minor damage was caused to the floor. The police say this morning that a number of lines of inquiry are being examined, and Bekeshet claims that this is the continuation of a systematic campaign of incitement against Channel 12, which crossed all the red lines last night.

During the night, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at Wertheim’s house, police forces arrived at the scene of the incident and began an investigation while collecting findings and evidence, as well as collecting evidence and trying to find out whether Wertheim had received threats on his life recently.

The police are investigating several lines of investigation, and not necessarily his connection to Keshet 12. Now the police will collect security cameras in the area and try to get to the person who threw the Molotov cocktail.

Dodi Wertheim is the controlling owner of the central company and owns 63% of its shares. The central company is one of the largest food corporations in Israel that holds the Coca-Cola franchise in Israel.

Mekeshet said in response this morning: “For months now, a systematic campaign of incitement against Channel 12 has been underway, which crossed all the red lines last night. In this framework, direct incitement is being carried out against prominent figures in the channel and its controller – David Wertheim, an incitement that led to a serious and dangerous act/ We are confident that the authorized figures will act on the issue.
