The sale that had been concluded ultimately never came to fruition. The semi-detached Manoir des Trembles, which is still in poor condition, is therefore still available.
The real estate broker, Jimmy Arsenault, indicates that 140, rue Marcel-Chaput, is for do-it-yourselfers, because everything needs to be redone. He even specifies in the advertisement that a visit of the interior is at your risk and peril.
Reached by telephone by TVA Nouvelles, Jimmy Arsenault said that the property ultimately never changed hands.
The buyer who wanted to acquire it for $308,000 last winter withdrew, due to a delay requested, as permitted by law, by the owner in default of payment who wanted to buy it back.
It is a sale under the control of justice and the man in question never found the money, according to Mr. Arsenault.
The creditor relaunched the sale at the same price as posted in February, namely $300,000.
