The Ministry of Tourism said that those coming on tourist visas are not allowed to stay in Saudi Arabia for more than 90 days

According to the Ministry of Tourism, those coming on tourist visas are not allowed to stay in Saudi Arabia for more than 90 days. Unlike visitor visas, those arriving on tourist visas cannot be renewed. The ministry also reminded that they will have to pay a fine of one hundred riyals for every day they stay in Saudi Arabia following the deadline.

Those who get a multi-entry tourist visa valid for one year are only allowed to stay in Saudi Arabia for a maximum of 90 days. This can happen once or several times in a year. That is, those who arrive on a one-year tourist visa, if they stay in Saudi Arabia for 30 days the first time, if they go out of the country once more and come back, they can stay only up to 60 days, so they can stay in Saudi Arabia for a maximum of 90 days in a year.

A fine of 100 Riyals will be charged for each day of stay following the expiry of the period. The fine has to be paid at the airport on the way back. But those who are on family and business visit visas can go out of Saudi Arabia following 90 days to renew their visa and come back once more. Tourist visas do not have the facility to extend the validity of visit visas. There is also a condition that a person who has come and gone back once on a tourist visa has to wait until the expiry of 90 days of the first visa to apply for a tourist visa once more. But those who arrive on any type of visa will be allowed to travel anywhere in Saudi Arabia and to perform Umrah and visit Madinah except during Hajj.
