The Ministry of National Education holds a new meeting with the teaching unions, and these are the outcomes of the meeting.

The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports held a new meeting with the teaching unions at the ministry’s headquarters on Friday, September 20, 2024, in the presence of representatives of the most representative teaching unions and representatives of Chakib Benmoussa’s ministry. The meeting was devoted to deciding on draft decisions related to private training.

Regarding the outcomes of this meeting, the National Union of Education, the CDT University and the National Union of Education – Democratic Orientation confirmed that three decisions were agreed upon regarding special training for three categories: advisors in guidance and planning and suppliers, a competition to change the framework assigned outside their original department, and a professional competition to change the framework for holders of higher degrees.

The two educational unions indicated in their two statements the Ministry of National Education’s commitment to signing the joint decision regarding compensations related to various examination processes, and recovering the amounts previously deducted for the assistants, in addition to settling the pending files of the 2022 graduates of educational guidance and planning consultants.

The Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports stressed the need to work as soon as possible to provide the most representative unions with the memorandum of the professor-researcher regarding doctors and to hold a special meeting to discuss and agree on it, and to address the problems arising from the tasks of working hours for educational specialists and social specialists in some directorates, and to change the framework for former vocational training teachers to secondary qualification, and to settle the material status of the late ranks.

Regarding the file of distinguished professors, the Ministry responsible for the education sector pledged to invite the special committee to discuss the basic system for distinguished professors to meet, and to appoint distinguished professors next week.
