The Ministry of National Education brings good news to women and men in education regarding the date of disbursement of the wage increase.

Today, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports revealed good news for women and men in education regarding the date of disbursement of the wage increase.

The Ministry said in a statement that “the scheduled increase in the wages of women and men in education, amounting to 750 dirhams per month (the first part), will be disbursed simultaneously with the disbursement of wages for the month of April, with retroactive effect starting from January 2024.”

The Ministry added, in the communication, a copy of which was received by Agadir 24, that “this process comes following completing all necessary procedures and procedures, in coordination between the concerned departments of the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports and the Ministry of Economy and Finance,” stressing that “this increase falls within the framework of downloading and daring.” The agreements of December 10 and 26, 2023, signed between the government and the most representative educational unions, through which a general increase in the wages of all women and men in education, in their various capacities and grades, were approved, with a net monthly amount set at 1,500 dirhams, to be paid in two equal installments (1st January 2024 – 1st January 2025).
