The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has fixed codes 80, 81, 84 and 85 on license plates in new regions of Russia. Corresponding order published on the official website of legal information on Wednesday, November 23.
The document provides for the expansion of the list of digital codes of the regions of the Russian Federation, which are used on the state numbers of vehicles necessary to allow them and drivers to participate in road traffic.
According to the order, the code 80 was allocated to the Donetsk People’s Republic, 81 to the Luhansk People’s Republic, 84 to the Kherson Region, and 85 to the Zaporozhye Region.
