The Ministry of Health and Population revealed the target groups for obtaining the seasonal influenza vaccine, as follows:

Children during the first five years of life.

Elderly people over 65 years of age.

People with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart, chest, liver and kidney diseases.

Those with weak immunity as a result of some diseases or drugs that stabilize the immune system, and those who underwent spleen removal or organ transplantation, such as the cochlea.

Pregnant women, especially in the second and third trimesters, and up to two weeks following delivery.

Health workers.

The seasonal influenza vaccine is given with any of the other vaccines at the same time or at any time before or following any other vaccine, as there is no requirement for specific intervals between the seasonal influenza vaccine and any other vaccine.
