The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed the provision of hepatitis B vaccination within the “Hepatitis Control Program”, through 271 health centers distributed in all governorates of the Republic.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that the program achieved great success by vaccinating a large number of target groups, which included newborns (the zero dose) within the first 24 hours of birth.
