The Ministry of Health advises diabetics to carry an identification card while performing Umrah

The Ministry of Health stressed the importance of taking a diabetic person, a measuring device, and carrying a medical identification card, while performing Umrah.

She explained that a diabetic patient may develop hypoglycemia, ulcers on the feet, and skin abrasions while performing Umrah, due to exertion and exposure to heat, changing the food system, and performing rituals during the day in Ramadan.

She indicated the importance of being careful not to expose medicines to the heat of the sun to avoid their damage, and to see a doctor to ensure the ability to perform the rituals.
