The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues a statement about an Egyptian doctor being shot in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, with great interest, a follow-up through the Consulate General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Riyadh, the developments of the case of the Egyptian doctor Ayman Abdel Salam Muhammad Rizk being shot and attacked with a knife in the Qassim region.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that the consulate is following up around the clock on this matter and is making continuous contacts in this regard, as well as visiting the injured Egyptian citizen, in order to check on his health condition.

Consul General Tariq Al-Meligy has continuously monitored the developments of the case with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Interior in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Emirate of Al-Qassim region, who are making appreciable efforts in dealing with this issue.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented in its consular sector and through our consulate in Riyadh, continues to follow up on this issue, wishing a speedy recovery for the Egyptian citizen.
