The Minister of Economy and Trade of the Government of National Unity, “Muhammad Al-Hawij,” called on the law enforcement and judicial authorities to implement a previous decision issued in 2022 stipulating a ban on the import of children’s toys.
The decision stipulated banning the import of children’s pistols that shoot “beads and arrows,” announcing that they would be added to the list of prohibited goods.
The reminder of the decision came following 400 children were injured in Tripoli during the Eid days, according to what was announced by the Al-Ayoun Hospital in the capital, in conjunction with the announcement by the “Ahmad Al-Maqrif” Hospital that 17 cases were injured in Ajdabiya, as a result of children’s pistols.
