In a letter of thanks and gratitude addressed to the nursing staff on the occasion of the celebration of the International Nurses Day (May 12), Mr. Ait Taleb praised the considerable and distinguished efforts made by the nurses, as well as their self-sacrifice and priceless sacrifices, especially during more than two years of fighting once morest covid-19, the ministry said in a statement. “The day comes when countries, nations and peoples recognize the value of the nurse in the life of all humanity, a presence dictated by the need for someone to accompany patients and healthy people and take care of their most precious asset: health,” said the minister, adding that Moroccan nurses marked the lives of Moroccans with their presence and painted in precious ink human epics that will remain etched in history.
Mr. Ait Taleb made a point of thanking, on behalf of the entire ministry, the nursing personnel who constitute one of the most important pillars of the health system in Morocco, in recognition of the considerable and distinguished efforts they deploys on a daily basis, and in homage to his invaluable self-sacrifice and sacrifices and to the heroic epics which call for pride and which will remain anchored in the memory of all, thus demonstrating a spirit of high citizenship, great responsibility and a unconditional commitment during this health crisis and critical situation.
In the same vein, the Minister stressed that nurses have shown unparalleled courage and good humor in serving their fellow citizens affected by the epidemic and to guarantee the continuity of public service. and hospital health services provided to citizens, in difficult circumstances despite all the challenges.
The tireless efforts of nurses on the front line in the face of the pandemic have enabled Morocco to achieve victories and achievements, he said, arguing that “this would not have been possible without your dedication to facing this health danger, each from his position, and without your spirit of citizenship and responsibility, a success which is undoubtedly the result of the great trust that King Mohammed VI has placed in each of us and in all of His people, thanks to His High Guidelines and His wise management of this health crisis ”.
