Pablo Escobar, during the 80s and 90s, was the most dangerous drug trafficker in the world and he was named a public enemy of Colombia and the United States as a result of the multiple crimes he committed.
However, His “regime of terror” came to an end on December 2, 1993.when the then leader of the Medellín Cartel, who had been hiding from the authorities for months, was murdered.
The Colombian drug trafficker was shot by Colonel Hugo Aguilar while trying to escape on the roof of the house in which he remained hidden in Medellín for several weeks.
Aguilar, following ending the life of the most dangerous criminal in the history of Colombia, sHe became a hero of the country, but this changed in February 2018.

Each soldier who was part of the operation in which the then head of the Medellín Cartel was killed He received a part of the reward of 5,000 million pesos (approximately US$1,300,000) that the authorities offered.
