The military industry of the Russian Federation was transferred to round-the-clock operation

Among the tasks is the production of drones in large quantities.

The special operation set new tasks for the Russian defense industry, some of whose factories have been transferred to three-shift, that is, round-the-clock work. This was reported by Ukrainian politician Oleg Tsarev with reference to the Deputy Chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission (MIC) of the Russian Federation Andrey Elchaninov.

As he wrote in his tg channel, “reserve capacities are now loaded in the Russian defense industry, all the accumulated technical and human resources are being used.” Due to sanctions, there is a shortage of electronic chips, bearings, some raw materials and materials: rubber products, rubber, adhesives, mixtures, special paints.

One of the problems that Oleg Tsarev outlined is drones, or rather, their lack. It is not a fact that the Russian defense industry can quickly supply them in the right quantity for the Russian army. Therefore, the deputy chairman of the military-industrial complex did not rule out the possibility of purchasing drones abroad, for example, in China. According to Tsarev, such purchases are also possible in Iran.

Yes, unfortunately, the Russian aviation industry has lagged behind in terms of drones not only from the United States or Israel, but also from countries such as China, Iran or Turkey. So it goes.

In turn, military expert, editor of the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine, Alexei Leonkov, proposes to solve the problem of the shortage of drones in another way. “We now have many small and medium-sized enterprises that can give our army what is required in small-scale quantities (from hundreds to thousands of copies), he wrote in his tg channel. – To give something that large concerns are not interested in. For example, the same quadcopters and small unmanned aerial vehicles, electric motors for them, batteries, optics and data transmission means.”

At the same time, according to him, the rules of the state defense order, “prescribed for defense industry enterprises united in concerns, are either difficult or impossible for them to implement.” “We need to simplify!” – says the expert.

The well-known military expert Alexander Khodakovsky also believes that the domestic industry is able to quickly solve the tasks that the Russian army and the special military operation set for it. “Now all healthy Russia has activated any resources to provide an advantage in all directions,” he wrote in the tg channel.

This also applies, he said, to long-range artillery systems. “NATO caliber hits further? Well, we will create guided long-range counter-battery weapons – there are developments, and the time for introduction into production will be limited … but it will be required. Only the other day I was present at the testing of a prototype of an ultra-cheap flying projectile, ”the expert noted.

According to him, “the top people are well aware of the state of affairs, and independent speakers, bypassing all instances, report everything clearly and categorically to the Supreme Commander, not hesitating in expressions – no matter how much someone would like the opposite.”

“We are swinging for a long time – this is true, but this is in our nature … The main thing is to work more now – imitate less,” the expert concluded.
