To speed up the changes, the ruling party seeks to revive a project that has half the approval of the Chamber of Deputies and which was approved in June 2022.
The initiative took the BUP model of the province of Córdoba, which includes national positions on the same ballot, photos of the first two candidates in all cases and up to five names in the category of deputies.
In the BUP there is also a box for the complete list option. The order would be established through a lottery, while the State would be in charge of printing the ballots.

The project was sanctioned with 132 affirmative votes in Deputies on June 8, 2022 with the support of the Together for Change, federal Interblock, liberal and provincial parties blocs.
