The method that thieves use to steal from houses

A scheme used by thieves to rob homes has residents of a town in California on alert.

Through security cameras, residents saw how strangers tried to enter their homes.

These are residents of the city of Danville, who on Sunday, July 14, saw a group of thieves breaking into cars in the area.

The intruders wore masks to hide their faces and opened vehicles parked in front of homes in the neighborhood.

It was later learned that they were trying to find items that would allow them to enter the homes, such as keys to the garage doors.

A woman “kicked them out of her house and chased them down the street while yelling at them,” a resident told KRON4. She added that “the attackers were running and laughing at her.”

Just a few meters from the woman’s residence, another neighbor, Mike Pawlawski, watched as the same group tried to enter his home.

“Three men entered my garage wearing masks and hoods. They also entered the homes of several neighbors,” he said.

The resident said the thieves opened his car and took hunting knives and the garage remote control. He immediately called the police.

Following the incident, the Danville Police Department responded to the area with several units of officers and pursued the suspects.

They headed to Alameda County and managed to escape.

They are therefore calling on the people of California to be alert to any signs of theft and to immediately notify the relevant authorities.
