The Medicines Authority warns against taking a number of drugs when driving

The Egyptian Medicines Authority revealed a list of non-prescription drugs that may cause drowsiness, and that caution should be exercised when driving, or handling machinery if used.​

The Egyptian Medicines Authority said that the list includes antihistamines such as “Dexbrompheniramine – Dimitindin Maleate – Loratadine – Doxylamine Succinate.”

The Medicines Authority stated that the list of non-prescription drugs issued by the Authority can be identified as follows..

And the Medicines Authority said that drug allergy is an abnormal reaction of the immune system when using a particular drug, whether it is with a prescription or without or herbal medicine..

The Egyptian Medicines Authority added that one of the most prominent signs and symptoms of drug allergy is a rash or fever.

And the drug authority continued: “A drug allergy leads to dangerous reactions, and puts a person’s life at risk, as it affects many body systems.”.
