The Egyptian Medicines Authority revealed the validity periods of oral liquid medicines taken orally, stressing that they do not exceed 6 months from the date of opening.
And the Medicines Authority said, in a publication, that the pharmacist should verify the validity period of the antibiotic if it was not, indicating that the validity period of liquid antibiotics is 6 months following opening it.
The Medicines Authority advised to follow the pharmacist’s instructions or the internal leaflet for the drug and to follow all instructions for taking the drug.
