China.com Chinese media site report data from Master Flight (Flight Master) said 9,583 flights across China were canceled on Sept. 21 (until 10:35 p.m. local time), accounting for 59.66 percent of the total itinerary that day.

The filemaster states that Airports that are some of the busiest air transport hubs in China have flight cancellation rates of more than 50 percent, such as:
- Beijing International Airport 622 flights canceled, the cancellation rate is 60 percent of all flights at the airport.
- Shanghai Pudong International Airport 652 flights canceled, the cancellation rate was 54%.
- Shenzhen Bao’an Airport 542 flights canceled, the cancellation rate was 51%.

- Guiyang Longdongbao Airport (Guizhou Province): 539 flights canceled, the cancellation rate is 99 percent.

- Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (Guangdong Province): 560 flights canceled, cancellation rate is 40 percent.
