In the continuation of the investigations in the criminal file regarding the railway accident on Monday, from the Roșiori Nord station, the policemen of the Teleorman Transport Police ordered the detention of the mechanic for 24 hours.
The mechanic is 36 years old and from Filiași.
It was presented to the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Roșiori de Vede Court, with a proposal to initiate the criminal action, the prosecutor ordering the preventive measure of judicial control, for a period of 60 days, as well as his release, informs IPJ Teleorman.
The mechanic, who was going to enter the station on another line, overcame the station entrance signal, which was already in the STOP position, and rammed the last carriage of the freight train, which was on its way to the station, informs the National Railway Company CFR SA .
Several people were injured, 4 of them went to the hospital.
