A timeless fashion accessory to wear beyond reality
Indeed, we no longer present the drops that McDonald’s regularly offers to its fans. We also remember the operation NFT through which one might win non-fungible tokens of burgers and fries, in pixel art. But this time, McDonald’s France goes even further by developing an accessory to wear in the real world and in the metaverse!
Supported by DDB, the brand is therefore offering its fans the chance to win a unique physical jacket, made of a technical and iridescent fabric, as well as its virtual counterpart to wear on Decentralizedone of the virtual reality platforms.

The brand also offers to test this jacket on Snapchat thanks to the realization of an AR filter developed by the production studio CosmicShelter. It is a technical and iridescent jacket accompanied by its virtual version that you can wear ” a skins ”, via his avatar on Decentraland. To be able to try on the jacket, users will also be able to try it on with the filter created especially for the occasion on the McDonald’s Snapchat account.
You can try to win it through a game on the Brand Instagram account, offered since December 13th. It is also possible to win it via a live on Twitch with the influencer Bichou. The latter will, of course, wear the jacket in real life but also on Decentraland.
