The mayor-elect of La Calera, Fernando Rambaldi, who obtained the electoral victory last Sunday within the framework of a Neighborhood Meeting agreement and the parties that make up Together for Change, announced this Thursday that once in office he will analyze whether his city will continue as part of the Entre Metropolitano, today under the leadership of the candidate for lieutenant governor of Hacemos Unidos por Córdoba, Myrian Prunotto.

Rambaldi considered that he will reanalyze the scope of the agreement signed in June 2022 by the municipality of Córdoba and eight other local administrations, including La Calera, as well as that he will make an evaluation of the contributions that are made with municipal funds.

“We are going to review the agreement of the Metropolitan Entity. I believe that it is important because what we want to analyze is whether or not it is justified to integrate it, since juicy salaries are received there in the entity. Myriam (Prunotto) has her salary assigned for presiding over the entity. The municipalities have to make a contribution ”, she expressed in dialogue with Continental Cordoba.

Rambaldi managed to prevail at the polls once morest the mayor Facundo Rufeil (PJ), who participated for the re-election; and before Gustavo Morán (Unidos Hacemos por La Calera), who led a second justicialist proposal supported by legislator Rodrigo Rufeil.

Already as mayor-elect, he announced that he will ask the local government for details on the plans and programs that were developed, as well as what was carried out within the framework of a government transition.

“To what extent is it necessary to create a new structure within the State when our objective is to reduce the burden of the State? To what extent is it necessary if the agreements can be made directly with the municipality of the capital, with the rest of the municipalities of Sierras Chicas, with the provincial government itself?” asked Rambaldi, who insisted on requesting data from the outgoing administration.

On this, he confided that he received the greeting of congratulations from the mayor and the commitment to dialogue following the provincial elections on June 25.

“Regarding the Metropolitan Entity, we are going to review it. What happens is that two percent of the Budget commits us. To what extent will it really pay off? We are going to analyze it, I am not saying that we are going to leave the entity, because I think it is important to have a space for dialogue, ”he said. “We have a concern today and it is to know which municipality we are going to receive because there has not been a good administration in recent years,” he added.

“The mayor wrote me to congratulate me on the victory and I immediately asked him to please give me an immediate audience to meet to make an orderly transition, learn regarding the municipal accounts and the projects, but they kicked us out following June 25 , which left me worried regarding knowing how the public accounts are, “remarked Rambaldi, who will be the second non-Justicialist local chief to govern La Calera since the return of democracy.
