“The Masked Dancer”
A singer hid behind Maximum Power
After the end of Axel Schulz and Ute Lemper on “The Masked Dancer”, another celebrity had to take off his mask with Maximum Power.
The finalists have been determined! In the last issue of the first season of “The Masked Dancer” on January 27 from 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben, the monkey, the mouse, the colored pencil and the shaggy will appear once more. Maximum Power had to take off the mask in the semifinals of “The Masked Singer” offshoot on Thursday evening.
While the mouse, the monkey and the colored pencil were able to secure tickets for the final in the first two rounds, the Zottel and Maximum Power should once once more prove their dancing skills. In the opinion of the viewers, Maximum Power was inferior. Dutch singer Eloy de Jong (48), known among other things as a member of the boy band Caught in the Act, was in the colorful costume. “What a machine,” said moderator Matthias Opdenhövel (51). Axel Schulz (53, sheep) and Ute Lemper (58, glowworm) had already been exposed in previous programs.
Those were the tips from the advice team
As usual, the guessing team was able to guess which prominent dancers were wearing the different costumes. In addition to Steven Gätjen (49) and Alexander Klaws (38), moderator Annemarie Carpendale (44) tried to recognize the stars this time. Both the spectators and Klaws were right regarding de Jong in the last round of guessing. Gätjen, on the other hand, bet on the entertainer Bürger Lars Dietrich (48) and Carpendale on the singer Benjamin Boyce (53). Thanks to a bet by the advice team, it might well be that Klaws will be seen in the final with a mustache.
“The mouse can definitely do it,” said Carpendale beforehand, but the trio didn’t agree on who might be in the costume. Among other things, they believed that it might be the actresses Nora Tschirner (40) or Wolke Hegenbarth (41), while a spectator suspected Jella Haase (29). Klaws was particularly impressed with the monkeys. You don’t “feel like he’s wearing a mask at all”. It remains to be seen next week whether YouTube star Julien Bam (33), dancer Massimo Sinató (41) or singer Oli P. (43) are hiding underneath.
There were also numerous possible names for the colored pencil, including that of actor Elyas M’Barek (39), that of his colleague Jannik Schümann (29) and that of Conchita Wurst (33). On the other hand, the moderators Marlene Lufen (51), Rebecca Mir (30) or Annika Lau (42) might hide under the mask at Zottel – at least when it comes to the advice team.
