The contract between Djanii Alfa and his manager Mousto Touré expired almost a month ago. The 5-year contract dating from 2018 has come to an end. However the question that intrigues the rapper’s fans, cultural actors and others is if the two (2) actors concerned still wish to renew the lease or if it is the end of a long adventure between the two. In an interview with Guinee360.com, the artist’s manager, Mousto Toure explains with an open heart.
Guinee360.com: Your contract with Djanii Alfa has come to an end. Explain to us…
Mousto Toure: Yes it was a 5 year contract from 2018 to 2023 and it ended a month ago, so all managers can sign a contract with the artist Djanii. Today, we managers of this generation do not carry the bag of our artists, it surprised many people. When I said the contract is over with Djanii, people called me to ask if there is a problem.
Would you like to extend with Djanii?
I explained to Djanii, it’s true that with us, fraternity takes precedence over business. There’s more brotherhood, but I don’t want to be that manager carrying the artist’s bag. I worked with him for five years he will evaluate see what I did, if it’s good for him to revive me, but at the moment I’m not ready.
If he calls you for a renewal what will you answer?
No ! He asked me what the lease is and everything I said for the moment I’m a little tired I have to do something for Zé Lelouma some very big things for the little one in the summer, but it will be a surprise and that’s some super big stuff.
Were you employed as the manager of rapper Djanii?
Yes on stamps. I have a percentage of everything Djani receives from his professional life, everything he receives I was well paid, which is why I gave it my all.
What stood out to you at Djanii?
He’s a very shy person, very humble me, he really respected me when we said Djanii is unmanageable until then everything that me. I told him to do it was complicated sometimes, he did it he always did it for me and if he knows he’s going to screw up he might not talk to me regarding it and not pick up my calls. Is the man there really misunderstood if it’s not Djanii on stage when you talk to him you’ll say to yourself it’s not the same person, he is respectful and very ambitious.
What is your favorite on the titles of Djanii?
My favorite is the title ”I am blessed” from the album ”Sicario”.
Which of the new generation would you like to work with? And why ?
A rapper the one who will contact me, Maxim Bk the style he has, the diction, these texts that they approach it’s not today I started saying it, it’s been a very long time me I like Maxim too much BK, but if it’s all mixed up, it’s little Mr. Black. He is my favorite because this little one writes really well. His pen nothing to say…
